There are many butterflies and moths in Stisted. Each year people from the village participate in the Butterfly Count starting 18 July 2025
The Large White took the third spot in last year’s count with 138,424 sightings, down 38% from 2023.
With over 80% of UK butterfly species in decline, every single sighting counts. Let us know how butterflies are faring where you live by getting out for the Count
